I fell in love with baking at a very young age. My Dad runs camps during the summer, and my Mom has always cooked for them, and I would tag along. I knew when I was little that I wanted to be a chef someday. My brother got married when I was 13, and my aunt came to California to decorate his wedding cake, and I was in awe of how cool it was, and I knew that’s what I wanted to do. I helped with the next two cakes when she came out for the weddings, and learned a lot.
I went to Diablo Valley College for 2 years where I studied Culinary Arts, and my passion for baking and cake decorating grew more. In the spring of 2008 my sister’s roommates asked me to make their wedding cakes for their weddings that would be in May and June. We had so much fun, and from there we decided to start a small cake business. We love what we do, and when I say we, I mean my husband and I. He helps me so much in not only construction, but also design, he’s very artsy. We are thankful for this opportunity that we’ve been given, and truly hope we can bless you with a beautiful cake for whatever occasion.
